Christmas Tree Pick Up
The Christmas Tree collection and recycling is a fundraising activity for Boy Scout Troop 407 and a benefit to the community. The donations received help fund the Troop's Scouting program and trees collected are used to feed goats or are recycled, rather than adding to landfills. Because the trees are either donated to a farm to feed goats (and they love Christmas Trees!) or recycled (if we get more trees than local farms can use) it is important that they be free of wires, lights, ornaments, tinsel and other man-made materials. We cannot accept artificial trees, flocked trees, or wreaths with shaping wires. The pick up area includes the towns of Amherst, Milford, and Wilton New Hampshire. Thank you for your support of this fundraiser! 100% of the donations collected goes directly to the Scouting program for Troop 407. |
