Don't throw away your used Christmas tree... let Boy Scout Troop 407 deliver it to a farm for goats to eat or recycle it!
We serve the towns of Milford, Amherst, Wilton, and Merrimack New Hampshire. The curbside pickup days for this year are:
Saturday, December 30th, 2023
Saturday, January 6th, 2024
How it Works
In exchange for a donation, Scouts from Troop 407 will pick up your used Christmas tree and donate to a local farm for goats or recycle it. Simply pick the date from the above choices that is most convenient for you, fill out the form on the Arrange Pickup page, put your tree and donation curbside in front of your house on that date and we'll pick it up.
Because the trees are to be eaten by goats or are being recycled, we cannot accept trees with tinsel, ornaments, lights, wires, or nails. Nor can we accept artificial trees, flocked trees, or wreaths with metal shape wires.
Please place your clean tree in a visible location curbside by 8AM. You may pay by check, attached to the tree, or online. To pay by check, place your donation in an envelope with "Troop 407 BSA" written on the outside), seal the envelope, and attach that to the base of the tree by rubber band. Please also consider putting the envelope inside a small ziploc bag if bad weather is forecast. Checks should be made payable to "Troop 407 BSA". Online payments are coming soon... check back.
